Overview
Welcome to the team. This page is the map of your first 90 days. Each step has its own page with the details.
The path
Section titled “The path”- Getting contracted. Marisol sends your info to the upline manager and you complete contracting with Lone Star Mutual online. About a week to a week and a half.
- Licensing and certifications. Your state life license, the yearly AML course, and the carrier product certifications you need before anyone pays you.
- Sales training. Two weeks riding along and watching, then you present while Marisol sits in. Role-play with the whole team every Thursday morning.
- Entering applications. The most important page in this handbook. A clean application the first time means the policy never comes back.
What “onboarded” means here
Section titled “What “onboarded” means here”You are fully onboarded when you can run an appointment solo, enter a clean application, and keep your rows in the client sheet current. For most people that lands around week four or five. It depends on the person, not the calendar.
Who you report to
Section titled “Who you report to”Everything runs through Marisol while you onboard. When an application has a problem, it goes to her, not the carrier. When you are stuck, ask early.
